We just opened three shiny new rail stations in downtown LA: Little Tokyo/Arts District, Historic Broadway, and Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill. They’re on the A and E lines. Our new stations are part of our new Regional Connector creating smoother, faster, transfer-free rides between Azusa and Long Beach, and East LA and Santa Monica — all through LA’s downtown core.
Now it’s easier than ever for you to get to work and play, and for riders across LA to meet downtown.
The A Line provides a faster, transfer-free ride between Long Beach and Azusa, via three new downtown stations.
Ride it to the aquarium in Long Beach, Disney Hall and other DTLA attractions, and the green spaces of Arcadia and Azusa.
The E Line color has changed to gold, and now provides a faster, transfer-free ride between Santa Monica and East LA, via three new downtown stations.
Ride it to the Santa Monica Pier, Disney Hall and other DTLA attractions, and legendary shops and restaurants in East LA.
(And other important changes.)
On June 16, the part of the current L Line between Little Tokyo/Arts District Station and APU/Citrus College Station became part of the A Line. The part of the L Line between Little Tokyo/Arts District Station and Atlantic Station became part of the E Line. The color for this part of the line remains gold.
And good news: the new A Line connects Union Station and Little Tokyo/Arts District Station, which means no more L Line Bus Shuttle — the shuttle was discontinued on June 17.
The A and E Lines now share three new stations in downtown Los Angeles. The stations allow smoother, seamless rail access to the core of downtown. Plus easier rail, bus and bike transfers in all directions.
Let’s stay connected
