Metro’s plan includes access to opportunity, which is why we are partnering with Little Tokyo Service Center Community Development Corporation at Vermont/Santa Monica Station. The joint development project includes approximately 190 affordable housing units, retail and electric vehicle charging stations. It will create affordable housing and improves access to this busy station.

Status

Metro received an unsolicited proposal from Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) Community Development Corporation in 2017 and entered into an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement in 2018. LTSC is currently finalizing project design and financing. Construction is expected to begin in early 2022.
