The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Service Councils will hold a series of six virtual Public Hearings beginning Wednesday, August 19, through Thursday, August 27, 2020, to gather additional public comments on the agency’s NextGen Bus Plan.
Metro’s NextGen Bus Plan is designed to create a fast, frequent and reliable Metro bus network for L.A. County. An updated draft of the NextGen Bus Plan is available at metroexemplifi.wpengine.com/nextgen. Metro welcomes public comment on the draft plan. After public hearings are held, the Metro Board of Directors will consider the NextGen Bus Plan. Approved changes to bus routes will begin to be implemented after Dec. 2020.
The virtual public hearing meetings will be held for the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, Gateway Cities, South Bay and the Westside/Central Service Council areas as well as a general all regions public hearing. The public is encouraged to participate in any of the following Public Hearings to share their thoughts on the NextGen Bus Plan to improve the Metro bus system.

Callers to the comment line will be able to listen to the proceedings while they wait for their turn to submit comments via phone.
