Metro Commuter Options & Regulatory Compliance Support

Metro Commuter Options & Regulatory Compliance Support

There are multiple options when deciding how to get where you’re going, and sometimes combining more than one mode is your best option. As we focus our efforts on sharing the ride as opposed to driving alone, we will reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality, while saving countless wasted hours on our freeways. Look through the commuter and employer programs we offer here at Metro to find services that will make your life easier and your businesses greener.

Rideshare Week

Do you want to Drive Less and Save More? Then it’s time it’s time to find a better way to get to work by taking transit, carpooling, bicycling, walking, vanpooling, and telecommuting. To find information on making the switch to ridesharing, go to ridematch.info and click on “find a ride.”

Track Your Commute Trips for a Chance to Win!

Commuters who carpool, take transit, vanpool, walk, bike, and telecommute during Rideshare Week (October 2 – 6, 2023), can sign up and track their rideshare trips on ridematch.info using the commute calendar.

You’ll save time, money, the environment, AND qualify to win some great prizes! At the end of the month Metro will draw the lucky commuters to award prizes donated by our Rideshare Week sponsors. Prizes include gift cards, transit passes and more!

A special thanks for all of our 2023 Rideshare Week sponsors:

Free Rides

During Rideshare Week, commuters ride FREE on Metro bus, rail, and bike share in recognition of Clean Air Day, Wednesday, October 4!

For more details on the bike share promotion visit metro.net/bikeshare.

Employers Can Participate Too!

Metro is encouraging Employee Transportation Coordinators (ETC) to let everyone know about the benefits of ridesharing during Rideshare Week.

We’ve created a Rideshare Week promotional toolkit to inspire Employee Transportation Coordinators (ETC) to promote this exciting event to their employees! ETCs will find rideshare treasures guaranteed to inspire their employees to participate, including email blasts, social media posts, posters/flyers and more!

Check back in for link to the promotional toolkit.
