The I-605 at Valley Blvd Improvements Project aims to enhance safety and mobility along a key segment of I-605 in the City of Industry. The area sees heavy truck and commuter traffic, creating congestion and safety challenges. Planned improvements include reconfiguring and widening freeway ramps, building retaining and sound walls, upgrading traffic and railroad signals, reconstructing pavement, and making sidewalks, curb ramps, and railroad crossings ADA-compliant. The environmental phase is complete. The project is now in the design and engineering stage, pending construction funding.
