Rail to River Active Transportation Corridor Project – Segment B
Creating a safe, convenient corridor for walking, biking and rolling in Southeast LA

The project will create a 4-mile active transportation connection along Randolph Street between the Metro A Line Slauson Station and the LA River. The project will create a safer, more convenient option for walking, biking and rolling in the communities of Bell, Huntington Park and Florence-Firestone. Metro is currently advancing the design and environmental review. In early 2025, Metro held two in-person community meetings and a virtual session to share proposed improvements with the public and gather input. Feedback from these meetings is shaping the project design in partnership with local jurisdictions and nearby projects.
