Southbound I-605: South Street Off-Ramp Improvements
Metro and partners are upgrading the southbound I-605 South Street off-ramp in Cerritos to improve safety and reduce congestion. This targeted project widens the ramp, improves signals, and enhances pedestrian access as part of the I-605 Hot Spots Program.

Metro, Caltrans, and the City of Cerritos are improving the southbound I-605 off-ramp at South Street to address congestion, enhance safety, and improve circulation. The project includes widening the ramp, adding a second right-turn lane, upgrading signals, improving crosswalks, and building a retaining wall to protect nearby slopes and drainage.
