Pico Rivera Rail Station Feasibility Study
Exploring new rail access for Pico Rivera and beyond

Metro is conducting a feasibility study to evaluate a potential new Metrolink station in Pico Rivera, between the Norwalk/Santa Fe Springs and Commerce stations. The study explores opportunities to enhance regional mobility, accessibility and economic development in the Gateway Cities area. In partnership with the City of Pico Rivera, Metrolink (SCRRA), LOSSAN, California High-Speed Rail Authority and BNSF Railway, the study will assess ridership potential, environmental considerations, community benefits, and how the station could integrate with projects like the Eastside Transit Corridor Phase 2. The proposed station would serve both commuter and intercity rail passengers, supporting multimodal connectivity and equitable access to transit. Findings are expected in 2025.
