Metro’s plan for less congestion includes improvements to the SR-91 corridor between Central Avenue and Acacia Court. This Early Action Project is part of the I-605 Hot Spots Program and will create new roads parallel to SR-91 to reduce merge and diverge movements, improve traffic flow and enhance safety. The project also includes local road improvements to create a safer environment for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Status
The environmental phase was completed in August 2021. The Final Design (PS&E) phase started in November 2021 and is currently on hold.
