Is the TAP card eligibility requirement 10 one-way transactions or 10 daily transactions?
The requirement is that the registered TAP card must be used on 10 separate calendar days during the month.
Am I able to pay for my parking with my TAP card?
Currently, this feature is not available. Metro recognizes the value of paying with TAP card and is actively working on this feature.

Am I allowed to park/leave my vehicle overnight?
Parking is permitted in Metro lots for up to 72 consecutive hours while utilizing transit.
I need to leave my vehicle for longer than 72 hours, what are my options?
To park longer than 72 hours, a permit must be obtained. The process can be started by filling out the Extended Permit Authorization Form, located on metro.net/parking. Once completed, please email the form to metroparking@joesautoparks.com for processing.
How can I obtain a receipt for my parking if I forgot to request one at the parking kiosk?
Please email metroparking@joesautoparks.com to receive a copy of the paid receipt
What should I do if I received a parking citation?
There are multiple methods of paying a Parking citation:
- Online Visit our online violation payment system.
- By Mail Metro Transit Court P.O. Box 866015 Los Angeles, CA 90086-6015
Make check or money order payable to Metro Transit Court and write violation number on check or money order. DO NOT SEND CASH. - In person Metro Headquarters (Limited Hours) One Gateway Plaza, Plaza Level, Los Angeles, CA 90012

What should I do if I believe my citation was issued in error?
Citations can be appealed within 21 days of the date of citation. Appeals can be made online through the Transit Court website or by submitting documents through postal mail. All details are listed on the Transit Court website (https://lbt-preprod.la-metro-web.net/about/transit-court/).
