Community Meeting
November 3, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Metro invites you to attend one of two upcoming meetings to provide updates on the progress of the Vermont Transit Corridor South Bay Extension Feasibility Study.
These meetings will be held virtually on:
Wednesday, November 3, 2021; 12pm – 1pm
Wednesday, November 3, 2021 ; 6pm – 7pm
The Vermont South Bay Extension Feasibility Study is currently evaluating whether Bus Rapid Transit and rail options could be extended from 120th Street to Pacific Coast Highway to serve a number of key communities including the heart of South Los Angeles, Harbor Gateway, Gardena, Harbor City and Wilmington.
These BRT and rail options were originally identified as part of the Vermont Rail Conversion/Feasibility Study completed in 2019 for the northern segment of Vermont from Hollywood Boulevard to 120th Street. This South Bay Extension Feasibility Study is being conducted separately from the Vermont Transit Corridor Project, which will begin conducting pre-environmental outreach this fall.
