LA Metro Complete Streets Training

Metro invites you to attend an upcoming Complete Streets Training. The Complete Streets Training is a two-day event, hosted by Metro, that will be held virtually via zoom on Wednesday, September 13, and Thursday, September 14 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM each day.

In October 2014, Metro adopted a Complete Streets Policy to advance multimodal street design considerations throughout Los Angeles County. The Metro Complete Streets policy describes complete streets as a comprehensive, integrated transportation network with infrastructure and design that allows safe and convenient travel along and across streets for all users, including children, seniors, persons with disabilities, and people who walk, bike, skate, scoot, or drive. The two-day Complete Streets Training Workshop is intended to support the work of our public agency partners in advancing safe and complete streets.
