Legal Services (subpoenas, claims, summonses)
Legal Services accepts, processes, and logs all claims for damages, summonses and complaints, wage garnishments, subpoenas (deposition, workers’ compensation, criminal and witness, video) served on the agency, including personal service (non-Metro related legal matters for employees). Subpoenas must be served in sufficient time to allow reasonable time to locate and/or produce the records. The date set for production may be no sooner than 15 days after the subpoena was served.
Claims for Damages
Please use the following form to submit a claim if you feel you have sustained an injury to person or personal property. Please allow 2-3 weeks for review and to receive a response on next steps. Completed Claims for Damages forms are only accepted in person or by mail (United States Postal Service, FedEx, UPS).
Subpoenas
Subpoenas (depositions, workers’ compensation, wage garnishments, criminal and witness, video) must be served in sufficient time to allow the witness reasonable time to locate and produce the records. The date set for production may be no sooner than 15 days after the subpoena is served.
