Tree Survey

The East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit Project is a 9.2-mile light rail system extending from Van Nuys Metro G Line (Orange) station to the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station. The first phase extends 6.7 miles from Van Nuys Blvd at the Metro G Line (Orange) to San Fernando Rd, it is entirely at grade, and includes 11 new stations. Additional studies are underway to determine phase 2 from San Fernando Rd continuing to Hubbard St. This new light rail transit project will provide connections to key destinations and greater opportunities for transit users to connect to the growing transit network in the San Fernando Valley.

Metro wants to hear from you as we finalize the design of the project elements, including landscaping. The following survey demonstrates possible street tree options along the Van Nuys Blvd segment of the Project. There will be various opportunities for constituents to give feedback on the project as it moves forward. This tree survey is an opportunity to help shape the corridor.
