Metro’s plan for less congestion includes a safer and easier drive on the I-605 Freeway. As part of the I-605 Hot Spots Program, I-605 Early Action Projects focus on short-term needs on this freeway. Improvements include reconfigured on- and off-ramps, additional safety features and enhanced arterial intersections.

Status

The I-605 Early Action Projects or “hot spots” are in the environmental review and final design phase and will be constructed within the next two to five years.
