I-605 Valley
Overview
This project’s operational and safety improvements include reconfiguring and widening freeway ramps; constructing freeway retaining and sound walls; upgrading signals (traffic and railroad); reconstructing pavement; and upgrading curb ramps, sidewalks, railroad gates and other vehicular/railroad/pedestrian facilities to comply with current ADA standards and improve mobility and local traffic circulation.
Status
The environmental phase of the Project was completed last year. The Plans, Specifications and Estimate [PS&E] or the design phase of the Project is currently underway, with construction slated to begin next summer 2023 by the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, pending the availability of construction funding.
