Long Beach-East LA Corridor Mobility Investment Plan

We’ve changed the name of our work to The Long Beach-East LA Corridor Mobility Investment Plan, or LB-ELA Corridor Plan for short. The change reflects the community-focused approach we are undertaking and a focus that goes beyond the 710 freeway. Once completed, this plan will offer multi-modal mobility options and community improvements for everyone along the corridor.

Metro launched the LB-ELA Corridor Plan process in Fall 2021 in response to community stakeholders who voiced a vision for mobility that advances equity and sustainability.

A Task Force with several committees was established consisting of residents and a cross-section of stakeholders representing the various communities and industries along the corridor.

Status

We have a reached a new milestone! After hearing from the public and many other community stakeholders, we have compiled the Initial List of Candidate Projects and Programs link.
